The U.S. Federal Trade Commission late last week expanded its ongoing assessment of franchising, with another request for public comment.
On March 10, the FTC announced it was seeking feedback on franchise agreements and franchisor business practices, including how franchisors exert control over franchisees and their employees. The FTC is looking to find out how franchisors disclose certain aspects and contractual terms of the franchise relationship, according to a press release.
